Please be aware of the new laws governing the Home Inspection industry in Florida. Senate Bill 2234, enacted June 27, 2007 as Chapter 468, Part XV, Florida Statutes, provides for licensure and regulation of home inspectors. Chapter 468, Part XV, Florida Statutes, became effective July 1, 2010, and provides that the home inspector licensing program will be administered by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
